The Within Our Reach Program builds on participants’ existing strengths. By learning critical life and relationship skills, couples are able to create safer, more stable unions that heighten the quality of life for themselves as well as their children. Topics include:  improving communication, managing expectations and stress, and devoting yourselves to mutual commitment and support.  Engaging activities reinforce your self-awareness and apply healthy decision-making strategies to your own circumstances.

This Course Covers:

• Replacing communication danger signs with strategies for talking and listening with respect.
• Teamwork for sharing fun, supporting each other and satisfying intimate needs.
• Techniques for managing stress and its negative effects on your relationship.
• Discussing and understanding how your past personal and family histories affect your relationships.
• Decision-making practices for planning your futures for long-term satisfaction and commitment.
