Your marriage has ups and downs. Every relationship has seasons; that's perfectly normal. But what can you do to make the good times of your marriage last? Whether you're in the middle of a healthy marriage and wonder how to keep a good thing going, or your marriage needs a little boost of encouragement, this class is for you!

Marriage Builders is an 9-week group course designed to give married couples the tools that build a long-lasting, happy marriage.

The class centers around the Marriage Toolbox, and will equip you to strengthen your relationship by understanding:

Personality differences

Communication skills

Conflict resolution techniques

Building intimacy

Setting goals and encouraging growth

Marriage Builders is free, and includes free refreshments and childcare.

Love Thinks: Balancing the Head and the Heart

Are you engaged, considering marriage, or married? Whatever stage you're at, Love Thinks will guide you as you plan your relationship's future. As a couple, you'll examine the different ideas and strengths you each bring to your relationship. Led by trained facilitators, the program is based on the Relationship Attachment Model (RAM) developed by Dr. John Van Epp. The RAM explores the five bonding dynamics of a relationship: Know, Trust, Rely, Commit & Touch. These dynamics are essential to feelings of love and connection in a relationship, both before and after marriage. Come discover how to balance these dynamics in your marriage!

All Love Thinks classes are free, include free dinner, and childcare is provided.

Classes meet weekly.

Healthy Couples Class

For those interested in developing a lasting relationship full of Purpose and Passion, the Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County is excited to introduce their upcoming class, the Healthy Couples Class! Healthy Couples employs fun and innovative activities that will teach participants:

to listen and be heard

to solve problems

to support each other

to understand their partner's background

to manage stress

to learn their love languages

The mission of Healthy Couples is to encourage and empower individuals to developand maintain healthy, loving relationships.

Growing a Loving, Lasting Marriage

One Day Workshops - New!

Grow your relationship at this one day workshop for married couples! Get grounded in techniques that help you resolve conflict, understand your differences, and sow the seeds of forgiveness through all seasons.

At this seminar, you'll:
